As you stated it's "only a number" but it does seem a
milestone. I'm 60
today and glad to have made it this far and been in
good health. Remember
our elders saying "if you have your health, you have
everything" That
statement never meant much until now.
Next month is a Helicopter squadron reunion for me
and we are all very
excited about seeing old friends, so far around 200.
I spent two hours on the phone with an old buddy whom
I haven't seen in 39
years. He's coming to the reunion so we can act like
kids again and relive
some of our good times, like when we took an R+R in
Hong Kong, oops, better
leave that one alone.
I hope your flooding is not too bad.
