Phil Evans sent a short note. He's thriving in retirement in MI. He's so busy he has to take a vacation from all the activities. Phil and I played clarinet in band. He was always 1st clarinet and was very good. I never practised and just winged it all the time. Phil always scoffed at me for that. After Phil left sophomore year, Dave Milan took over the 1st chair. I was next to him then.
