Donald G. Schaff February 15, 2010 Donald G. Schaff, 90, of Virginia Beach, formerly of the Syracuse area, passed away February 15. He was the son of Edwin and Edith Schepp Schaff of Minoa. He graduated from Minoa High School in 1937 and worked at Solvay Process and NY Central Railroad until his enlistment in the Army. After his military duty, Mr. Schaff worked as a salesman for Syracuse Bearing Co. He was made president of the company and remained president after it was acquired by Kaman Corp. in 1975. Mr. Schaff served on the board of directors of Marine Midland Bank. He was an avid golfer and a member of St. Mary's parish in Minoa. He was predeceased by his son, Gregory; his former wife, Eloise; second wife, Alyce; and sisters, Dorothy and Esther. He is survived by his daughters, Suzanne (Michele) of DeWitt, Nancy Bandoblu (John) of Lakeland, Patricia Campbell (Stewart) of Pompey and Marjorie of East Syracuse; and his son, Mark of Delaware. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Adam of Delaware, and Karly of South Carolina. A memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, at St. Mary's Church, 401 N. Main St., Minoa. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 26, at Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home, 7191 E. Genesee Street, Fayetteville.
