Deborah J. Dolan March 19, 2010 Deborah J. Dolan, 62, of Fayetteville, died Friday in her longtime family home. She was a native of Fayetteville, NY, where she graduated high school and lived for most of her life. Debbie worked as a communicable disease nurse for Onondaga County Health Department, from where she recently retired. Debbie devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and was a loving and beloved friend of many. Debbie also had a great love of the ocean and slot machines. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Iva Dolan, and her brother, Kurt. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Michelle Balstra; daughter and son-in-law, Donielle Balstra and Andrew Kross; her "baby" son, Trevor Balstra; two grandchildren, Caely and Samantha Balstra; and Bob Coleman of Westmoreland, who brought a lot of love and laughter into her life when she needed them the most. She leaves behind many other beloved family members both near and far, as well as Gracie, her furry four-legged daughter. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fairchild and Meech DeWitt Chapel, 3690 Erie Blvd. East in DeWitt. The church service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at DeWitt Community Church, 3600 Erie Blvd. East. Burial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White Chapel Memory Gardens Cemetery in DeWitt. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or the SPCA.
