San Antonio is a good place to go if you want to get (not to far) away for awhile if you are living in Central Texas. The Riverwalk is relaxing and the food is great. My grandson loves the boat tour along the Riverwalk. We discover new resaurants each time we go. Once you park your car at your hotel you can take a trolley, horse drawn carriage, or a bicycle drawn cart ride around town. I believe it must be one of the most popular business convention center locations in the US. So if you plan on visiting San Antonio, get your reservations early. It may be a busy place, but a must to visit. The history there is amazing starting with the Alamo. We live just an hour and half away and visit quite often as my daughter's meetings and trainings are usually on the Riverwalk.
